Payment does not reserve a delivery slot. We call to agree a suitable day and time.

Narrow drive, soft ground, low branches? Ring before you order and we’ll tell you honestly whether the trailer will get in. We’d rather have that chat now than churn up your lawn later.
Who you’re buying from
Lee, Lauren and the family cut, split, dry, bag and deliver every load themselves. When you ring, one of them answers.
Lee started out in 1992; Woodland & Forestry Ltd was formed in 2013. The firewood grew out of it because the timber was already coming down — and because people kept asking.

Every log starts as a by-product of woodland management and tree work we were doing anyway — thirty years of forestry contracts across Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
From local contractors, The National Forest, and a large UK woodland management company. All British, and kept close to home so it isn’t hauled halfway across the country.
Cut to 9–10 inches and split, then stacked by species mix and drying stage.
Kiln dried at a local drying facility, then meter-checked by us before delivery, ensuring it’s under 20%.
We ring you to agree a delivery slot, then bring your logs in our own vehicle for a loose-tipped delivery.
Local, and it matters
A large share of the firewood sold in Britain is imported, much of it from eastern Europe — dried with imported energy and trucked the length of the country. Ours is cut, split, dried and delivered inside one postcode area.
Our logs are dried at a local green waste recycling site that runs a drying service for firewood. Our own waste wood goes back to them to fire those kilns, and our chippings go out as mulch for paths and chicken runs. Almost nothing leaves the yard as rubbish.
