How we got here
From subcontractor
to family firm
Lee starts out
Self-employed subcontractor working in estate and grounds maintenance across Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
Woodland & Forestry Ltd formed
An ever-growing list of clients, from small landowners to large estates, leads to the company being formed.
Firewood becomes its own business
The timber was already coming down. Rather than waste it, we started cutting, drying and delivering it locally — and people kept asking for more.
Certified, and ordering online
Ready to Burn certified — logs WS7474/00001, kindling WS7474/00002. Online ordering is new for us, and we’re keeping it as personal as picking up the phone.

Huge thank you to Lee for helping us out with his knowledge and expertise. Called in the morning and had my delivery by the afternoon. Brilliant.
So helpful from beginning to end and really good quality firewood, reasonably priced.
Fantastic service. Nothing is too much trouble. Happy to help stack the logs and offer advice on storage. Even helped arrange some pallets.
Showed up when promised and was really flexible when I was held up and running late. Really pleased with the quality of the logs.
A lovely family run passionate business. Recommended to us by a good friend. Quality first class and a service to match.
Easy experience all round, from ordering to delivery. Logs are great. Will be using them again in the future.
All well seasoned, similar sizing and a good mix of species. Good price. Burns great, almost like kiln dried.
Very prompt service at very short notice, great quality wood at a very decent price. Very professional company.
