Burton is our biggest nearby town and we deliver logs across every part of it on our own lorry, around twelve miles from our yard at Uttoxeter. DE13, DE14 and DE15 are all in our outer delivery area.

Burton is in our outer area, so a larger order brings free delivery. That's the cost of running the lorry over and back, and we'd rather be straight with you about it than bury it at the checkout. Two cubic metres clears the free delivery level comfortably and sets you up for the winter in one drop.

That's kiln dried logs: under 20% moisture, Ready to Burn certified (WS7474/00001) and burning hot enough to keep the glass clear instead of tarring it black.
The thing worth knowing is what you're actually getting. A loose cubic metre is a genuine cubic metre of wood, tipped where you want it and enough to fill a decent log store. A bulk bag is half a cubic metre, so two bags give you the same wood as one loose tip and cost more. Bags make sense if you're short of space or the lorry can't get to where the wood needs to go. If you can take a loose tip, take it.

Tutbury, Barton and the villages
Out of town, Tutbury, Rolleston on Dove, Barton-under-Needwood, Anslow, Hanbury and Yoxall are all on the same run. Plenty of the older houses here burn wood as their main heat, so a bigger seasonal order of kiln dried or seasoned hardwood logs is usually the better buy.
