Firewood delivered in Uttoxeter

Our yard is near Uttoxeter, the logs are cut and split here, and the trailer that turns up on your drive is ours.

We deliver logs across Uttoxeter and the villages around it — Bramshall, Stramshall, Spath, Marchington, Kingstone, Hollington, Crakemarsh, Beamhurst and Doveridge — plus Rocester and Denstone up the Dove valley.

Delivery is free on orders over £50 anywhere in ST14 and the surrounding postcodes, so most loads arrive at no extra cost. Under £50 it's £12. Everything is delivered on our own lorry by us, not handed to a courier, so if there's a tight lane, a gravel drive or a gate that needs opening, tell us when you order and we'll work around it.

Because we're based on Hallam Road, Uttoxeter deliveries are a short run for us. That means we can be flexible about timing in a way a national supplier can't.

Kiln dried or seasoned: which logs to order

If you're burning in a log burner or a multi-fuel stove, kiln dried is what you want. The moisture is down below 20%, so the logs light quickly, burn hot and clean, and don't tar up your glass or your flue. Our kiln dried logs and kindling are Ready to Burn certified (WS7474/00001 and WS7474/00002), which is the standard all firewood sold in England has to meet.

Seasoned logs are air-dried rather than kiln dried. They're cheaper per cubic metre and suit an open fire or an outdoor fire pit, where a bit more moisture matters less. They're sold with a two cubic metre minimum. Seasoned stock is dependent on the season, so give us a ring on 01889 567449 to check what's in.

Our logs are dried at a green waste recycling site just down the road, using our own waste wood to fire the kilns. The chippings that come off go back out as mulch.
